POTS predominantly affects adolescents and young adults and can significantly impair daily functioning, school or work participation, and overall quality of life. Because its symptoms can be broad and the diagnosis is often delayed, it can be challenging to recognize in clinical practice. This review provides a practical overview of the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of POTS and helps shine a light on an important condition that should be considered in the differential diagnosis, particularly in younger patients presenting with orthostatic symptoms, unexplained tachycardia, fatigue, or exercise intolerance.

Link to article

JAMA just published an excellent review of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), and I strongly recommend reading it.
