Focus of this guideline is management of hyperglycemia in<\/abbr><\/cite> <!--more-->hospitalized patients. some of their recommendations are:<\/p>\n<p>1. bedside accuecheck for at least 24 to  48 hours\u00a0 for nondiabetic patients with blood glucose  levels of &gt; 140 mg\/dL and for\u00a0 patients with normal glucose but receiving treatments such as\u00a0 steroids, TPN, &#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>2. Blood glucose testing for all admitted patients<\/p>\n<p>3.
