Effect of adrenaline on survival in out-of-hospital cardiac arrest

Cardiac arrest PGY3 PGY4

This is a very interesting study regarding usage of epinephrine in out of hospital setting.  This is probably the first control trial in human post cardiac arrest. The study is about giving placebo vs epinephrine in patients with cardiac arrest and the conclusion is the use of adrenaline in cardiac arrest significantly improves ROSC in prehospital setting, but fails to show a better survival to hospital discharge.
