American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) described the important role of focused cardiac ultrasound (FOCUS) in patient care and treatment and emphasizes the complementary role of FOCUS to that of comprehensive echocardiography. I believe that this is a great guideline to focus on FOCUS! They summarized very nicely our focus in cardiac exam.
